Prices tend to be higher than at many other local restaurants.

For an authentic Dominican experience, spend a night drinking and dancing at this colmadón. Prices are more affordable than at clubs and the beer is just as cold. The music is more authentically Dominican and the atmosphere is lively and fun, especially on weekends when locals gather to socialize.

If you're visiting with kids, bringing goggles can make it even more fun — the water is often crystal clear, and you may spot small fish swimming nearby. This is the field office for the Dominican Ministry of Environment, where you can purchase the required park entrance tickets for Cotubanama National Park, which includes Isla Saona and the surrounding area. If you're visiting Isla Saona with a tour operator, they'll usually handle the entrance fee for you. However, if you plan to take the boat with Bienbe to Mano Juan, you'll need to provide proof of purchase. The office is open from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. We recommend arriving early, especially during peak tourist seasons, to ensure tickets are available and avoid any delays.

Parking Lot 4

The best located parking lot to visit the lookout point, Iglesia La Divina Pastora, or any restaurant in this part of town. However, parking is not free. Look out for the posted signage about parking costs. If you need to park in the evening, we recommend the lot next to the basketball court and food trucks that we've labeled Parking Lot 1.

Parking Lot 3

The only parking lot near the southern tip of town. You may find a spot here, but know that sometimes a designated Bayahibe parking "official" may show up and require payment, even though no signs are posted.

Bayahibe Parking Lot 1

Bayahibe's original parking lot is close to the harbor, restaurants, and activities in the heart of Bayahibe. The best time to use it is if visiting Bayahibe at night. Don't expect to find a spot if you go midday because the large Saona excursion buses leave no extra space.

A dirt parking lot with unofficial security. If you park here, it's our opinion that your vehicle and belongings left inside it are safe. Consider giving the security personnel a tip on your way out. $100 DOP will do it.
